Why doesn't my Owner dashboard SEO reporting match my own Google search results?

Your Owner dashboard uses a neutral, non-personalized setup, so results won't match what you personally see on Google.

You might notice your Google search results don't always match what's in your Owner report. That's normal. Here's why:

Personalization

Google tailors results based on your history and behavior. If you visit your own site often, it may rank higher for you.

βœ… Our reports use a neutral, non-personalized setup to avoid this bias.

Location

Results vary based on where you search from. A search from your restaurant may look different than one from home.

βœ… Our reports use precise GPS coordinates for your primary promoted location to deliver consistent, location-specific data.

Device and timing

Rankings vary between mobile and desktop, and shift over time due to algorithm updates or competitor activity. Each report is a snapshot of performance at that moment.

ℹ️ You can see the snapshot timestamp in the bottom left of the SEO position section of your Owner Dashboard.

Owner reports what your guests see, not what you see

Our reports remove the noise and shifting factors to give you an unbiased baseline to measure local SEO performance. That way you can make strategic decisions that actually impact visibility, traffic, and sales.
