Why doesn't my Owner dashboard SEO reporting match my own Google search results?

Your Google Search results are personalized and change based on where, when, and how you search. Owner dashboard reports provide a consistent, neutral view, free from those shifting factors.

You might notice that your Google search results don’t always match what’s in our report. That’s completely normal. Here's why:

1. Personalization

Google tailors results based on your history and behavior. If you often visit your own site, it may appear higher for you.

✅ Our reports use a neutral, non-personalized setup to avoid this bias.

2. Location

Results can vary based on where you search from. For example, a search from your restaurant may look different than one from your home.

✅ Our reports use precise GPS coordinates for your primary promoted location to deliver consistent, location-specific data.

3. Device and Timing

Rankings vary between mobile and desktop, and shift overtime due to Google algorithm updates or competitor activity. Each report is a snapshot in time, providing performance at that moment.

ℹ️ You can see this snapshot timestamp in the bottom left of the SEO position section of your Owner Dashboard.

Owner reports on what your customers see, not what you see

Our reports remove the noise and ever-changing factors to give you an unbiased, reliable baseline to measure your local SEO performance. This way you’re able to make strategic decisions that have real impact on visibility, traffic, and ultimately, sales.
