How to Steps:

  1. From your Owner.com Dashboard Home screen, click on Restaurant.

  2. On the Menu page, click Categories.

  3. Click on the name of the Category you’d like to edit.

  4. Scroll down to Advanced Options > Options.

  5. Toggle on Use a different name internally.

  6. Add the name you’d like your staff to see.

  7. Click Save Category.


FAQ:

Q: Can I change the Internal Name to a different language?

A: Yes - you can write anything you want in the name box.

Q: How is this different from the Display Name?

A: The Display Name is what your customers see on your Menu. The Internal Name is not displayed on the Menu; it is visible to you and your staff on the Dashboard, Tablet, and printed tickets.
