How to Steps:

  1. From your Owner.com Dashboard Home screen, click on Restaurant.

  2. On the Menu page, click Categories.

  3. Click on the name of the Category you’d like to edit.

  4. Under Items, click Add Items.

  5. Search for the Items you’d like to add to the Category. You can add multiple Items at once. (If the Item you’d like to add is missing, click Create Item to add that Item to the Menu.) When finished, click Add Items.

  6. Click Save Category.


FAQ:

Q: How do I delete an Item from a Category?

A: On the list of Items within the Category, click the “x” on the desired Item to remove it from the Category. The Item will no longer appear under that Category on the Menu, but the Item is not deleted permanently from the Menu’s inventory.

Q: Can I have the same Items in Multiple Categories?

A: Yes - you can add the same Item to as many Categories as you want. Keep in mind that if you change any modifiers or settings to that Item, that change will apply everywhere the Item is listed.

Q: Will Items appear on my customer-facing Menu if they are not in a Category?

A: No - Items must be in Categories to be visible on the Menu.
