How do I import my customer list to Owner?

  • The list needs to be in a CSV format

  • The CSV must contain separate columns for First Name, Last Name, Email, and/or Phone Number

    • It's much better if they have both email address and phone number, but not mandatory. The system will only require one of them.

    • If the first or last name is missing, you will need to add some kind of placeholder there. However, the email or phone number must be real.

Steps:

  1. Once the list is ready, go to your Owner Dashboard and click on Customers

  2. Click on Import

  3. This will start a 4-step process:

    1. Introduction: Click Get Started to proceed

    2. Upload CSV: Upload the file

    3. Verify CSV format: You will see an arrow on the very first row. Confirm if this is pointing to the column headers row or not.




    4. Match customer data: Match the fields with the headers.

    5. When done, click on Import Customers

  4. The Import will happen and you will get a results screen.

  • Once the Import is done, the page will show how many rows were successful and how many failed. The most common reasons for failed rows include:

    • Duplicate rows

    • Rows lacking a value

    • Rows with invalid characters
