How do I create and send a one time marketing email to my guests?

Send custom one-time emails to your guests using AI or a manual builder, with flexible scheduling and personalization.

You can send custom one-time emails in addition to your automated campaigns. These are ideal for time-sensitive offers or events.

ℹ️ There’s no send limit, but we recommend pacing emails to improve engagement.


1. Login to the Owner Dashboard and click Marketing

2. Click One-time

3. Click on Send Email

4. Choose a location or select All locations

5. Choose how to write your email

  • Make it with AI: AI drafts your email instantly

  • Make it yourself: Build from scratch

4. Set up your campaign details

  • Occasion: This is what the email is about (e.g., Pizza Promo!, Valentines Day Special!)

  • Select a Menu item or coupon (optional)

    This will only display if you’re sending to a single location. Coupons and menu items are location-specific.

  • Select Tone of Voice (if using AI)

    This will only display if you selected 'Make it with AI'

5. Click Generate (If using AI) or just Create (if you're NOT using AI)

ℹ️ If you're using AI, after you click generate you'll need to wait a few seconds for the email to populate and then click Create

6. Enter a Subject Line and click Create

Type a subject line that matches your occasion

✅ We recommend adding your restaurant’s name at the end (e.g. “Pizza Promo! – Luigi’s Pizzeria”)


7. Customize your content (optional)

  • Edit any text directly in the preview

  • Add sections: images, buttons, coupons, rich media, or Get the App Buttons

Want to promote your app? You can add Get the App Buttons to include polished App Store and Google Play download buttons in your email.

In the editor, click Add Section → Select Get the App Buttons* → Click Add.

*This option only appears if your restaurant has at least one live app, and will automatically show the right badges based on what's live.

9. Click Save as draft or Send

  • Save as draft: Continue editing later

  • Send: Pick a date & time, then confirm

ℹ️ Campaigns can take a few minutes up to an hour to reach all guests, depending on list size.



How do I send a test email?

Before sending to your full guest list, you can send a test email to preview exactly how it will look in a real inbox. To get started, save your email campaign as a draft and open it in the email editor.

1. In the email editor, click Send Test in the sidebar

2. Enter any email address

3. Click Send test

The recipient will receive a fully rendered version of the email, just like the real campaign.

ℹ️ The test email can be sent to any email address, it doesn't need to be a guest on your list. Use it to review and approve the design before sending to everyone.



How do I add a clickable link to an image?

Any image in the email builder can have a click-through URL. When a guest taps or clicks the image, they'll be taken directly to the linked page, great for linking to your online ordering site, a catering menu, or an event page.

1. Add or select an Image section in the email editor


2. Upload or confirm your image


3. Enter the destination URL in the Click-through URL field


4. Click Done

The image will be clickable in the delivered email.

⚠️ The URL must start with https://. If it doesn't, you'll see an error and won't be able to proceed.

✅ You can click the image in the builder preview to confirm the link goes to the right place before sending.
