When customers place an order, they have the option to leave a tip at checkout. Here's what it looks like:

Here's how those tips are distributed, depending on the type of order:

Pickup orders

  • 100% of the tip goes to the restaurant.

In-house delivery

  • 100% of the tip goes to the restaurant.

Third-party delivery

  • The driver receives up to 20% of the order subtotal.

  • Any tip amount above 20% goes to the restaurant.

Example:
If the order subtotal is $10 and the customer tips $3:

  • Driver receives: $2 (20% of $10)

  • Restaurant receives: $1 (remaining amount)

Where to view the tip split:

You can view how tips are split on each order in the Owner Dashboard or on your tablet.

Here is an example:

  • Subtotal: $26.24

  • Tip: $10

  • Driver receives: $5.25

  • Restaurant receives: $4.75
