Popular Items are how you add menu items to the Most Ordered section at the top of your website and app. Most Ordered items are chosen automatically from your sales data, and you can add more with the Popular Item toggle.
How Most Ordered works
The Most Ordered section is a carousel at the top of the menu page on your website and app. It highlights the items selling best at each location.
Auto-populated from real order data; refreshes weekly.
Shows up to 8 items per location.
Auto-selected items appear first, followed by any you add manually with the Popular Item toggle.
How items qualify for auto-selection
For an item to be auto-selected into the Most Ordered section, it must meet all three criteria:
At least 5 orders in the last 4 weeks.
Priced at $5.00 or more.
Has an image.
In the Owner Dashboard
Items you mark as Popular Item appear in Most Ordered after the auto-selected ones, up to 8 items total.
Click Menu in the left-hand navigation.
Click the Items tab at the top of the page.
Find and click the menu item you want to mark as Popular.
Scroll down to the Promotion section.
Toggle Popular Item on.
Click Save.
⚠️ Auto-selected items can't be removed. The Popular Item toggle only adds items; it doesn't override or exclude auto-selected ones. If you need a specific item removed, contact Owner support.
✅ Tip: If your menu is brand new with no sales yet, turn on Popular Item for a handful of items so Most Ordered isn't empty at launch. Once orders start coming in, the section refreshes weekly with your real best-sellers and your manual picks move to the end.
