ℹ️ Note: these steps apply if your menu syncs from Clover. To check, look for a Sync with POS button on the Menu page in your Owner Dashboard.
You can offer catering orders on your Owner website using a category you already have in Clover. You build the catering menu in Owner.
Step 3: Verify the menu is live
Wait a few minutes for the catering menu to appear online. You'll find it at [your domain]/menu/catering.
Example: ownertestdomain.com/menu/catering
If your old catering form is still showing
If you had a catering form page before you built this menu, unpublish that page so the menu shows instead.
Go to Website › Pages.
Open the Catering page.
Change the Status field to Unpublished.
That turns the form off, and your catering menu shows in its place.
Starting a catering menu from scratch
If you don't have a catering category in Clover yet, set it up there first. Two things have to be true before the category reaches Owner.
In Clover, turn on Online Menu for the catering category. Without it, the category is skipped however its items are tagged.
In Clover, add the Owner.com label to every item in that category. A category with no qualifying items is dropped.
Once both are true, the category starts appearing in your Owner Dashboard under your categories.
Adding a button that opens your catering menu
If you'd rather keep a catering page and send people to the menu from there, add a button to it.
Step 1: Review catering settings
Catering is on for every location. Review its settings at Settings › Orders and delivery › Catering. If you have more than one location, pick the location first.
Step 3: Add the button
Step 3: Add the button
