With a Clover integration, Clover holds your menu and Owner reads it from there, photos included. So you add a photo to an item in Clover and it comes across to your online ordering on its own.
First, check which Clover view you have
Clover comes in two versions and photos live in a different place in each. This takes a second to check and saves you hunting.
Log in to your Clover Dashboard and click Items on the far left.
Look underneath Items for a Menus tab.
What you see | Follow |
No Menus tab | Version A below |
There is a Menus tab | Version B below |
Version A: no Menus tab
Go to Items, then your item list.
Click the item you want to add a photo to.
Add your picture, and a description while you're there if you want one.
Save.
Version B: there is a Menus tab
Go to Menus and open your online menu.
Click Categories and items, then click the item you want.
Click item detail page.
Scroll down to the Online ordering section and add your picture there, plus a description if you want one.
Save.
⚠️ In this version the photo must go in the Online ordering section specifically. A picture added elsewhere on the item won't reach your Owner site.
If a photo isn't showing
Give the sync a few minutes before checking your live site.
On Version B, check the photo went into the Online ordering section rather than somewhere else on the item.
Check the item itself is set to show online. A photo on a hidden item won't appear anywhere.
If all three are fine and it's still missing, tell your Owner contact which item it is.
