Set a different price for each ordering platform in Otter

ℹ️ Note: requires a POS integration through Otter.

Otter lets you charge a different price for the same item on each ordering platform. A sandwich can be $10 on Owner and $12 on Uber Eats, which helps you cover the commission each marketplace charges.

Set prices by channel

  1. In Otter, go to Apps › Menus, then open the menu you want to edit.

  2. Select the items you want to price differently, then click Update prices.

  3. Under Change price, choose By channel.

  4. Choose Set to or Change by, then enter your prices.

  5. Click Change prices.

The two options do different things:

  • Set to puts an exact price on each channel. For example, $10 on Owner and $11 on Uber Eats.

  • Change by shifts the price by a dollar amount or a percentage. On a $12.95 item, change by $0 on Owner to keep it at $12.95, and by $1 on Uber Eats to make it $13.95.
