How do I connect the Owner tablet & printer for the first time?

Step-by-step instructions to pair your Owner printer to your Owner tablet via Bluetooth and configure the Kitchen App to start printing tickets and receipts.

Updated this week

⚠️ These instructions are for Owner tablets paired with Owner printers only. Third-party printers follow a different setup process.

Before You Start

1. Turn off all other Bluetooth devices, including any other printers nearby.

2. Plug in your printer, load the paper roll so it feeds from the bottom, then flip the power switch on the back of the printer to turn it on.

The Power/Error light (first light on the front) should glow blue, indicating the printer is on and ready.

ℹ️ The printer has three status lights on the front:
Power/Error light (first): Blue = powered on and ready. Red = error, check that the paper compartment is closed and the paper roll is loaded correctly.
Bluetooth light (second): Blue = Bluetooth connected.
Network light (third): Green = network connected.

Setup Steps

1. Turn on your tablet. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi Settings and connect to your Wi-Fi network.

2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth Settings. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

3. Under Available Devices, find the device starting with TSP-100 and tap it to pair.

4. Open the Kitchen App from the home screen and enter your location code (case-sensitive).

ℹ️ Don't know your location code? See How do I log into the Kitchen App on the Owner tablet? to find it.

5. In the Kitchen App, tap the three lines in the top-left corner, then go to Settings > Station. Tap + Printer.

6. When prompted, tap Allow so the tablet can connect to nearby devices.

7. Select TSP-100 from the list of available devices and tap Pair.

⚠️ If the printer doesn't appear, confirm it's still paired under Settings > Bluetooth Settings on the tablet.

8. Once connected, the printer will show a Ready status. Tap Test Print to confirm the connection is working.

9. In Print Settings, make sure the following toggles are turned ON:

  • Print Ticket Automatically

  • Show Modifier Group Names

✅ Turn on Print Receipt Automatically if you'd like pricing and the delivery address to print on receipts.

10. Use the volume buttons on the side or top of the tablet to set your preferred notification volume.

11. Your printer is connected! Place a test order to confirm everything is working correctly.
