An option group holds a set of choices for guests, like sizes, toppings, or preparation styles. You can create one from any item, then configure it from its own detail screen.
ℹ️ Options and option groups are also known as modifiers and modifier groups.
Create an option group
1. Tap Menu in the side navigation.
2. Navigate to any item, then tap Create new option below the option groups list.
3. Enter a name and tap Save.
Edit an option group
1. From any item's detail screen, tap the option group you want to edit.
2. Tap the name or display name at the top to edit it inline.
3. Type the new text and tap outside the field to save.
Change option group settings
Scroll to the bottom of the option group screen to find additional settings.
Setting | What it does |
Channels | Controls where this option group appears: POS, Online, Kiosk, or any combination. |
Selection rules | Sets the minimum and maximum number of selections a guest can make. Use "No limit" for the maximum if there's no cap. |
Add to more items
The "Used in" section shows which items currently use this option group.
1. Tap Add to more items.
2. Search or browse, then check the items you want.
3. Tap Save.
Delete an option group
1. Scroll to the bottom of the option group screen.
2. Tap Delete.
3. Confirm when prompted.
⚠️ Deleting an option group removes it from every item that uses it. This can't be undone.
