⚠️ You need a connected printer for these settings to work.
Open printing settings
On your Owner tablet or POS
1. Tap the menu icon in the top-left.
2. Tap Settings, then Station, then Printing.
In your Owner Dashboard
1. Go to Settings, then Stations and tablets.
2. Under Station set up, select your station, then click Printing.
ℹ️ Changes you make in the Dashboard sync to your tablet.
Choose what prints automatically
Printer settings has a Receipts section and a Tickets section. Older tablets show one shared Receipts & tickets section instead.
Receipts (turn on any combination):
Print orders placed online: receipts for orders from your website, the Owner app, and marketplaces like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
Print orders from this station: receipts for orders paid at this device.
Print orders from other stations: receipts for orders paid at any other device at your location.
ℹ️ Each order matches only one of these three, so turning on more than one prints different sets of orders, not duplicates.
Tickets:
Print tickets: kitchen tickets for incoming orders.
Print tickets for scheduled orders when placed: when on, scheduled and catering orders print a kitchen ticket as soon as they are within 7 days of prep, instead of only at prep time. Off by default.
Time slips (if you use time clocking):
Print time slips on clock in / clock out: prints a time slip automatically each time an employee clocks in and out.
Cash drawer (if you use cash drawer sessions):
Auto-print report on session close: prints the cash drawer summary automatically when you close a session.
Item labels
Item labels print one label per item when an order fires to the kitchen. You can turn them on, set the font size, and choose whether option group names print, all in your Printing settings. For the full guide, see Print item labels.
Copies, size, and option names
Number of copies: choose 1 to 5. You can set this separately for receipts and for tickets.
Font size: choose Small, Medium, or Large for receipts and for tickets.
Print option group names: prints the option group label (like "Toppings") next to each item.
ℹ️ Options and option groups are also known as modifiers and modifier groups.
Your changes save automatically.
Not sure what to turn on?
Common setups to start from:
One tablet, print everything: turn all three receipt toggles on.
Only print what is rung up here: Print orders from this station on, the others off.
A tablet just for online orders: Print orders placed online on, the others off.
A view-only tablet: all three off.
