Jobs decide what each staff member can do, so set them up before you add your staff. Start with the Admin, Manager, and Employee jobs, or create your own when a role at your restaurant needs something different.

Choose permissions and locations
Click Set Permissions and turn on everything this job needs.
Under Locations access, choose All current and future locations or select specific locations.

Before you change a job

Default hourly pay: staff with their own Hourly rate override keep their rate.
Title: past shifts in the Summary view of Staff › Pay and its export keep the old title, so the job can show on two rows.
Every job needs at least one permission and at least one location.
✅ Tip: Before you delete a job, check Staff › Members to see who has it. Give them a new job first so they don't lose access.
