Pre-select an option so it's already checked when a guest adds the item to their cart. Guests can still uncheck it if they don't want it. This is handy for defaults like regular ice on a drink, standard toppings, or default packaging and condiments.
In the Owner Dashboard
Click Menu in the left-hand navigation.
Click the Option Groups tab at the top of the page.
Click the option group that contains the option you want to pre-select.
Scroll down to the Options section.
Find the option you want to pre-select and check the Preselect box next to it.
Click Save Option Group at the top.
ℹ️ Note: A pre-selected option appears already checked in the guest's cart. They can leave it selected or uncheck it before completing their order.
Good to know
Pre-selected options work best for optional add-ons using the Multiple display type.
If an option is in a required Single display type group, pre-selecting it makes it the default choice.
A pre-selected option that has a cost adds to the item price unless the guest unchecks it.
You can pre-select multiple options in the same option group.
