How do I create a new coupon in the Owner Dashboard?

Learn how to create and customize a coupon code for one or all of your restaurant locations.

1. In the Owner Dashboard, click on Restaurant

Note: Choose your location

At the top left, use the location selector to pick one location or choose All Locations to apply the coupon everywhere.

​2. Next, click on Coupons

3. Click on the Create Coupon button at the top right corner of the page

4. Enter the Coupon Code that the guests will type in to redeem this



​5. Pick the Discount Type and Enter the Amount

  • Percent off (e.g., 10%)

  • Fixed amount off (e.g., $5)

6. Select where this discount applies under the Applied To options:

  • Entire order

  • Items or categories

Note: If you select Items or categories a dropdown will show and you then must select which items or categories you want this coupon to be applied to.

7. Customize with optional settings

  • Start/End Date: Limit the coupon to a date range (e.g., Jan 1–Jan 31).

  • Require specific items or categories: Guests must have these in their cart to redeem. Select the required items in the dropdown.

  • Minimum spend: Set a minimum order amount for eligibility.

  • Promote on menu: Show the coupon at the top of your online menu.

  • Internal name: Use a different label for internal screens and tickets.

  • Description: Add details that display when the coupon is promoted.

  • Maximum uses: Cap the total redemptions across all guests (e.g., 100 times).

  • Usage limit per guest: Limit how often each guest can use it.

  • Redeemable channels: Restrict to mobile app or website.

  • Redeemable order types: Restrict to delivery or pickup.

  • Availability days and hours: Choose days of the week and hours when the coupon is valid.

8. Click Save Coupon at the top when done.
