How do I turn a menu on or off?

Every menu in your Owner Dashboard has an availability toggle that shows or hides it from guests on your online ordering site. You can flip it from your dashboard or the Owner Mobile App.

Turn a menu on or off from your Owner Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Owner Dashboard.

  2. Click Menu in the left navigation.

  3. Find the menu you want in the list.

  4. Click the toggle in the Available column.

ℹ️ Turning off a brand-level menu hides it at every connected location at once.


Turn a menu on or off from the Owner Mobile App

  1. Open the Owner app and tap Menu.

  2. Find the menu you want.

  3. Click Edit

  4. Tap the Available toggle


"Available" vs "Availability Hours"

These look similar but do different things.

When to use

Available

Manual on/off switch. The menu stays off until you turn it back on.

When you want to hide a menu right now or for a while.

Availability Hours

Schedule. For example, a breakfast menu can be set to show only from 7am to 11am. A menu can be Available but still hidden outside its scheduled hours.

When you want a menu to show only during set times.

⚠️ Toggle greyed out? A few things can lock the toggle.

Your menu is managed by Otter. If you use Otter to manage your menu, the availability is controlled there. Make the change in Otter and it'll sync to Owner.

You don't have permission. If you don't see the Available column at all, your account may not have permission to edit menu availability. Ask the account owner or an admin on your team to update your access.
