How do I change a menu item's availability on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Mark a menu item as available or unavailable (86'd) to control whether guests can order it. You can set it to come back automatically or stay off until you turn it on.

When you run out of an item or need to pull it from the menu temporarily, you can mark it unavailable in a few taps.


From the item detail screen

1. Tap Menu in the side navigation.

2. Tap the category that contains the item.

3. Tap the item.

4. Tap the availability button near the top of the screen.

5. Choose one of the following options:

What it does

Available

The item is live. Guests can see and order it.

Unavailable until tomorrow

Hides the item now. It automatically comes back at your next opening time.

Unavailable

Hides the item until you manually turn it back on.


From the category view

You can also toggle an item's availability without opening it:

1. Tap Menu in the side navigation.

2. Tap the category that contains the item.

3. Use the availability switch next to the item in the list.

βœ… You can also toggle availability from search results. Tap the magnifying glass, find the item, and use the switch next to it.
