Create and manage coupons in the Owner app

You can create, edit, and turn off coupons from the Owner app on your phone, without opening your Owner Dashboard. Coupons stay in sync between the two.

Open your coupons in the Owner app

  1. Open the Owner app on your phone and sign in.

  2. Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Tap Coupons.

You'll see every existing coupon for the brand or location. Each coupon row shows an Active, Inactive, or Expired badge rather than the availability toggle you get in your Owner Dashboard.

ℹ️ Note: A coupon you create in the app belongs to the location you're in, so switch to the right location first. Brand-level coupons must be created in your Owner Dashboard, but existing ones show in the app's list marked Brand-connected.

Create a new coupon

  1. From the Coupons list, tap Create in the top right.

  2. Fill in the main fields:

    • Coupon code

    • Description

    • Start and expiration dates

    • Discount type

    • Applied to

  3. Add any optional settings you need:

    • Minimum spend

    • First order only

    • Usage limits

    • Redeemable channels

    • Availability hours

  4. Tap Create at the top of the screen. The new coupon appears in the Coupons list right away.

✅ Tip: Every setting works the same way as in your Owner Dashboard. For a field-by-field walkthrough, see Create a coupon in the Owner Dashboard.

Edit an existing coupon

  1. From the Coupons list, tap the coupon you want to edit. The coupon editor opens.

  2. Update any field. Changes are tracked as you go.

  3. Tap Save at the top of the screen. Changes sync to your Owner Dashboard and to live coupons right away.

⚠️ Changes to an active coupon take effect as soon as you save. If a promotion is already running, check before you change the discount amount or the expiration date.

If a coupon is used by an automated campaign, a banner at the top of the editor says so, and a few fields can't be changed. This is on purpose, so the offer keeps matching what your guests were promised. See Can I edit coupons connected to automated campaigns?

Turn a coupon off

  1. From the Coupons list, tap the coupon you want to turn off. The coupon editor opens.

  2. Tap … in the top right of the editor.

  3. Tap Deactivate. It takes effect right away with no confirmation step, and a message says the coupon is disabled.

The coupon stays in the list for future use but stops working at checkout. To turn it back on, open the same … menu and tap Activate.

⚠️ If the coupon is attached to a marketing campaign, turning it off may also turn off the campaign, and the app does not warn you. Check which campaign uses the coupon before you tap Deactivate. If you are not sure, use your Owner Dashboard instead. It warns you first and lets you cancel.

Delete is in the same … menu.

⚠️ Deleting a coupon removes it for good. To pause a promotion, turn it off instead, which keeps its settings so you can turn it back on later.

Synced with your Dashboard

Coupons you create or edit in the Owner app appear in your Owner Dashboard, and the other way around. You can start a coupon on your phone and finish it on your computer.
