You can create a coupon that only works on in-store orders, which is useful for items you sell in the restaurant only, like alcoholic drinks. You build the coupon in your Owner Dashboard first, then apply it at checkout on the Owner POS.
Requirements
Owner POS at one or more of your locations
Create the coupon in your Owner Dashboard
Set up the coupon so it stays active and works only on the Owner POS.
Set up the discount
Go to Marketing › Coupons.
Click Create Coupon.
Enter the Coupon Code. This is the name your staff will see when they apply it.
Set the Percent off or Dollar amount off.
Keep the coupon active
Leave the date fields blank so the coupon stays active.
Scroll to Advanced Settings.
Change Usage limit to As many times as they'd like.
Limit the coupon to the POS
At least one channel has to stay on, so turn on POS before you turn off the others.
Under Redeemable Channels, turn on POS.
Turn off App and Website.
Click Save Coupon.
ℹ️ Note: The coupon can take a few moments to appear on the POS. It loads automatically once it's saved.
Apply the discount on the Owner POS
Your staff apply the coupon at checkout on the Owner POS.
Add the discount
Add the items to the order as usual.
Tap Actions at the top right.
Tap Add Discount.
Apply it and take payment
Tap the coupon you want to apply.
Tap Apply.
Take payment as usual.
