If you have your own Stripe login, Stripe can send you email, SMS, and mobile push notifications about your account, like when a payout arrives or a dispute is opened.
Requirements
Your own Stripe login
These notifications are managed by Stripe, not Owner. If you have questions or run into an issue with them, contact Stripe Support.
How Stripe notifications work
A few things to know before you turn them on:
They're set per person. Each person with access to your Stripe account has their own notification settings. Most accounts have just one login, so one person receives them.
You have to turn them on. To receive notifications, turn them on in your own Stripe dashboard (steps below).
Owner can't turn them on for you. Only the person logged in to the Stripe account can change these settings.
Turn on Stripe notifications
You choose which notifications you get, and how, in your Stripe communication settings.
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
Click the settings gear at the top, then click Communication preferences.
Open the relevant tab and notification type. For example, Disputes are under the Payments tab, and Payouts have their own tab.
Choose Email, SMS, or Mobile push (Stripe app). Not every option is available for every notification type.
Note: For more detail, see Stripe's own guide: Set up account email notifications.
Add more people to receive notifications
Notifications only go to people who are tied to your Stripe account. If you want more than one person to be notified, invite them to your Stripe account.
Payout emails
When a payout hits your bank account, Stripe sends you an email. Stripe sends one notification per payout, not one per day, so you may get several payout emails on the same day (for example, several on a Monday).
