Account Details lets you view and update your payments account info, including your personal information and the bank account your payouts go to, without leaving your Owner Dashboard. You'll find it under Settings › Payments › Account Details.
Requirements
Payments in your Owner Dashboard settings. If you see Settings › Fees instead, you manage your bank and personal details directly in Stripe. See How do I update my bank account and tax details in Stripe? for the steps.
Sign in to Account Details
Account Details manages your Stripe payments account, so you'll confirm who you are before your information loads. How you sign in depends on your payments setup.
If you sign in with Stripe: when you go to Settings › Payments › Account Details, you'll be asked to sign in to your Stripe account before your information loads. This is expected. Sign in with your Stripe credentials to continue.
If you're on Owner Payments: you won't see the Stripe sign-in. Instead, you'll enter a six-digit verification code sent by text message (preferred) or email.
The code is valid for 10 minutes.
Once you enter it correctly, you can stay on Account Details for 10 minutes without being asked again.
If you don't get the code, click Try another method, or check that your phone number and email on file are correct.
Note: Verification is per-browser. Verifying in Chrome won't carry over to Safari, and incognito always asks again.
What you can view
Once you're signed in, Account Details shows:
Personal info: your name, email, date of birth, and address (in the Account representative section).
Payout details: the bank account or accounts receiving your payouts.
Linked external accounts: your bank details with a masked account number.
Update your details
You can update most of the information on this page.
Click Edit next to the field you want to update. A window opens with your options (for example, a list of your linked bank accounts).
Select the new value.
Click Save.
For example, to change your payout bank account, click Edit on the payout section, select a new default bank account from the list, and click Save.
Your payout bank account must be a checking account, not savings. Savings accounts limit how many transactions they can accept per month, so payouts are rejected or fail once those limits are hit.
If your payouts are failing and your payout account is a savings account, switch it to a checking account.
