ℹ️ Charging a gift card removes the balance but does not create an order. You'll need to create and fulfill the order separately.

1. Click Gift Cards
From the Kitchen App, click Gift Cards on the left side of the screen.
2. Enter the gift card number
Manually enter the gift card number or take a picture of it, then click Continue.
3. Review the balance and click Charge
You'll see the current balance, guest name, and email.
4. Enter the amount to deduct
Use the keypad to enter the charge amount.
5. Confirm the charge
The amount will be deducted from the guest's gift card.

1. Go to Gift Cards
From your Dashboard home screen, click Restaurant, then Gift Cards.
2. Click Adjust Balance
Click the Adjust Balance button in the top right corner.
3. Enter the Gift Card details
Enter the full gift card number in the Card Number field.
4. Enter the amount to deduct (as a negative number)
In the Adjustment field, enter the amount with a minus sign (e.g., -10.00). The New Balance will automatically calculate to show the updated amount.
⚠️ To charge (deduct from) a gift card, enter a negative number using the minus sign (e.g., -10.00). Entering a positive number will credit money to the gift card instead.
5. Add a reason
Enter a reason for the adjustment in the Reason field.
6. Apply the adjustment
Click Apply Adjustment. The amount will be deducted from the guest's gift card.
