How do I cover a portion of the delivery fee for my guests?

Reduce what your guests pay for delivery by covering a portion of the fee on qualifying orders.

Covering part of the delivery fee encourages guests to choose delivery and can increase your order volume. You can choose exactly how much to contribute toward the delivery fee for each delivery zone, and set a minimum order amount so the coverage only applies to larger orders.

✅ The most popular setup is to cover $3.01 for orders over $30. This brings the guest's delivery fee under $4 and helps increase delivery orders.

How to set up delivery fee coverage

1. Log in to your Owner Dashboard and click Settings (gear icon)

2. Click Orders and delivery

3. Click Delivery

4. Click the delivery zone you want to edit

5. Enter the amount you want to cover in the Cost Covered field

This is the dollar amount you will contribute toward the delivery fee on each order in this zone.

6. Set the Min Spend amount

This is the minimum order total a guest must reach for your delivery fee coverage to apply.

7. Click Save

ℹ️ Delivery fee coverage is configured per zone. If you have multiple delivery zones, repeat these steps for each one.

⚠️ Delivery fees vary by provider. Keep these amounts in mind when deciding how much to cover:

  • Uber Eats: $6.45 flat fee for deliveries up to 8 miles

  • DoorDash: $7.00 flat fee for deliveries up to 5 miles
