How do I start a ticket in the Kitchen on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Start a ticket to send it from the queue into your active work. Started tickets move to the In progress tab.

Starting an order

1. Open the Kitchen view and tap the Not started tab.

2. Find the ticket you want to start.

3. Tap Start at the bottom of the ticket card.

The ticket moves to the In progress tab.

โœ… Want a faster way?

  1. Make sure your Kitchen is set to Tabular grid layout.

  2. Then double-tap the ticket's header (the colored bar at the top of the card). The ticket starts and moves to In progress in one tap.


Starting a scheduled order

1. Tap the Scheduled tab.

2. Tap Start on the ticket card.

โ„น๏ธ Start only appears on scheduled tickets once they're close enough to pickup time. Until then, you can see the order but can't start it yet.
