The Payment methods report is in the Reports tab. It splits your total collected by payment type so you can see how much came in by card and how much by cash.
Open the Payment methods report
1. Tap the menu icon in the top-left to open the side navigation.
2. Tap Reports.
3. In the left sidebar, tap Payment methods.
Top-line metrics
At the top of the report, you'll see three numbers for the date and time range you've set:
Metric | What it means |
Total card | Money collected through card payments (tap, dip, swipe, and manual entry). |
Total cash | Money collected through cash payments. |
Total amount collected | Card plus cash combined. |
Chart and breakdown
Below the top-line metrics, you'll see a chart that compares card vs. cash over your selected date range.
Scroll down for a table that breaks each payment type down by transaction count, net sales, taxes collected, in-house tips, third-party tips, and guest-paid fees.
ℹ️ Card payments using a card reader (tap, dip, swipe) are only available on Owner POS. Both Owner POS and Owner Tablet support cash and manual card entry, so the report will only show the payment types you actually take.
