The Sales report is the default view in the Reports tab. It shows a full breakdown of your sales for any date and time range, and lets you filter by order channel and payment method.
Open the Sales report
1. Tap the menu icon in the top-left to open the side navigation.
2. Tap Reports.
3. The Sales report is selected by default in the left sidebar.
Top-line metrics
At the top of the report, you'll see four key numbers for the date and time range you've set:
Metric | What it means |
Number of orders | Count of all completed, paid orders. |
Net sales | Sales after discounts. Excludes taxes, tips, and guest-paid fees. |
In-house tips | Tips left for your staff (pickup, delivery, dine-in, to-go). |
Total amount collected | What guests paid in total: net sales plus tax, tips, and guest-paid fees. |
Chart and breakdown
Below the top-line metrics, you'll see a stacked bar chart that splits your total collected into net sales, sales tax, in-house tips, third-party driver tips, and guest-paid fees.
Scroll down to see a full line-by-line breakdown including:
• Gross sales and discounts
• Sales tax
• In-house tips, split by pickup, delivery, dine-in, and to-go
• Third-party driver tips
• Guest-paid fees (delivery, processing, service)
Filter by order channel
Use the channel filter above the chart to focus on specific channels. For example, only your in-store POS or only your third-party marketplace orders.
1. Tap the All channels dropdown at the top of the report.
2. Select one or more channels: App, Kiosk, Phone, POS, Website, DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, EzCater.
3. Tap outside the dropdown to apply. The chart and breakdown update right away.
✅ Leave all channels selected to see your full sales picture, or deselect a channel to remove it from the view.
Filter by payment method
Use the payment method filter to show only cash or only credit transactions.
1. Tap the All payment methods dropdown next to the channel filter.
2. Select Cash, Credit, or both.
3. Tap outside the dropdown to apply.
ℹ️ Card payments (tap, dip, swipe) are only available on Owner POS, but cash and manual card entry work on both Owner POS and Owner Tablet. The filter shows whichever methods you actually use.
