ℹ️ Card readers ship pre-paired and ready to use on the Owner POS. Follow these steps if you're pairing a new or replacement reader.
Connect a card reader
1. Plug the card reader into a USB cable to power it on. Lights flash left to right when it's ready to pair.
2. On your Owner POS, tap the menu icon and tap Settings > Station.
3. Tap the Card reader icon on the device diagram.
4. Pick how you want to connect:
Bluetooth
USB
Internet (Wi-Fi)
5. Tap your card reader when it appears in the list.
6. Tap Pair when prompted.
⚠️ If a firmware update is pending, it installs automatically after pairing. Wait until it finishes before taking payments.
Remove a card reader
Remove a reader when you want to swap it for a different one or stop using it on this station.
1. Tap the menu icon, then tap Settings > Station.
2. Tap the Card reader icon on the device diagram.
3. Tap Remove.
