How do I pause online orders on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Pause incoming orders from your website or from DoorDash and Uber Eats when your kitchen is too overwhelmed to take more.

ℹ️ Pausing online orders stops new orders from coming in for the time you set. Use it when your kitchen needs a real break, not just a slowdown. For a slowdown, use Busy mode instead.

Pause all online orders

Pause orders from your website for a set amount of time. Guests still see your menu but can't place an order until the pause ends.

1. Tap Kitchen status in the side menu.

2. Tap Pause online orders.

3. Tap All online orders.

4. Pick how long to pause for: 30 min, 60 min, or Until store closes.

5. Tap Pause online ordering.

⚠️ While paused, guests see an estimated lost-sales warning so you know what you're missing. Orders resume automatically when the pause ends.

Pause DoorDash or Uber Eats orders

Pause orders from one or both marketplaces without affecting your direct website orders.

1. Tap Kitchen status in the side menu.

2. Tap Pause online orders.

3. Tap Marketplace orders.

4. Check the marketplaces you want to pause: DoorDash, Uber Eats, or both.

5. Tap Pause online ordering.

ℹ️ Marketplace pauses don't have a timer. Orders stay paused until you tap Orders paused in the side menu and turn them back on.
