How do I switch to Busy mode on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Switch your kitchen to Busy mode to add extra prep time to incoming orders when your kitchen is overwhelmed.

โ„น๏ธ Busy mode adds extra prep time to all incoming orders for a set window of time, then automatically returns to normal. Use it when your kitchen is running behind and you need a bit of breathing room.

Switch to Busy mode

1. Tap Kitchen status in the side menu.

2. Tap Busy at the top of the screen.

3. Under Prep time, pick how long orders should take while you're busy (25, 30, 45, 60, or 75 minutes).

4. Under Ends in, pick how long Busy mode should last before it switches back to normal (30, 45, 60, 75, or 90 minutes).

5. Tap Update prep time.

โœ… Guests see the new prep time on their order. When the time you set runs out, your kitchen automatically goes back to normal.

Switch back to Normal early

If your kitchen catches up before Busy mode ends, switch back to normal so prep times stay accurate.

1. Tap Busy kitchen in the side menu.

2. Tap Normal at the top of the screen.

3. Tap Update prep time.
