How do I reply to a Google review from the Owner App?

Every Google review your restaurant receives appears in the Reviews channel of your Inbox. Reply from the Owner App and your response posts publicly to Google.

⚠️ Replying to Google reviews from Inbox requires Yext to be connected to your Owner account. If it's not, you'll see a Connect Yext button when you try to reply.


Reply to a Google review

1. Open the Owner App on your phone.

2. Tap the Inbox tab in the bottom navigation.

3. Tap the Reviews tab at the top.

4. Tap the review you want to reply to. You'll see every Google review here, including ones not driven by Owner's automated review system.

5. In the reply box at the bottom of the Chat, type your response. Or tap the pencil icon to get an AI-generated draft you can edit.

6. Tap send.

⚠️ Your reply posts publicly to Google as your restaurant. Once posted, you can't post a second reply from Inbox.
