The Payment Methods report shows how your guests paid: card, cash, gift card, or through a marketplace. Use it to check that your payments add up, for example when your cash count doesn't match.
Open the report
Open the report from your Owner Dashboard, then pick the dates you want to see.
In your Owner Dashboard, click Reports.
Under Sales, select Payments By Type. The page that opens is called Payment Methods.
Set your date range at the top of the page.
What it shows
The report shows your totals at the top, a chart, and a table that breaks down each payment method.
Totals and chart
The top of the page shows these totals:
Total collected
Total card
Total cash
Total gift card redemptions
Total third party
The chart shows how much you collected with each method over time.
Table
The table has one row for each payment method, plus a total row:
Card
Cash
Gift Card Redemptions
Third Party (DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub)
Total amount collected
For each row, you'll see:
How many orders were paid that way
Net sales, which is sales after discounts
Taxes collected
In-house tips and third-party driver tips
Guest fees, like the delivery or processing fee your guest paid
Gift card sales, which are gift cards guests bought with card or cash
Refunds
Total collected
The report covers orders from your website, Guest App, Owner POS, and marketplaces. It uses the same rules as your Total Sales report, so the totals line up.
What's not included
Some orders and charges don't show in this report:
Voided orders that were never paid, and failed orders.
Disputes. These change your bank deposit, so you'll find them in your Payouts report.
If an order was paid and then voided, the payment shows in its payment method's row and the money you gave back shows in Refunds, so the two cancel out.
Export the report
Click Export in the top right corner to download the report as a CSV.
