The Tips report shows the tips your guests left, both for your staff and for third-party delivery drivers. Use it to track tips over time and to work out your staff tip-out.
Open the report
In your Owner Dashboard, click Reports.
Under Sales, select Tips.
Set your date range at the top of the page.
Choose how to group the chart: Hours, Days, Weeks, or Months.
ℹ️ Note: The grouping choices depend on your date range. Hours is only offered for ranges shorter than 7 days.
What it shows
Top numbers: your in-house tips by order type: Pickup, Delivery, Dine-in, and To-go. Dine-in and to-go come from your Owner POS, and each only shows when you have tips there.
Chart: your in-house tips over time, stacked by order type. Click a circle below the chart to show or hide an order type.
Breakdown: Total in-house tips split by order type, then Third-party driver tips.
ℹ️ Note: Third-party driver tips go straight to the delivery driver. They're shown here for your records, but they aren't paid to you.
See tips on your Owner POS
On a POS station, tap the menu icon (☰), then Reports, then Tips. You'll see the same in-house and third-party driver tips for the dates you pick.
Split tips with your staff
Owner doesn't split or pool tips for you. The Tips report gives you the total, and you divide it using your own process, like a spreadsheet or your payroll software.
Get the Total in-house tips for your dates from the Tips report.
Check who worked and for how long in Settings › Time Clocking.
Apply your tip-out rule, like an equal split or a split by hours worked.
⚠️ Time Clocking records shifts, breaks, and job titles, but not tips. Owner can't show tips per server or per shift.
Only split your in-house tips. Third-party driver tips belong to the delivery driver.
