Kitchen Overrides replace your default prep time for specific days and times, so your kitchen stays on track during busy windows and guests see realistic ready-times. You can set them in the Owner Dashboard, on your Owner tablet, or in the Owner app.
Set a prep-time override
Kitchen Overrides are on the Prep time page in your Owner Dashboard.
⚠️ An override replaces your default prep time for its scheduled window. It does not add on top of it.
Go to Settings › Prep time.
Scroll to Kitchen Overrides.
Add a schedule with the days, the time range, and the prep time to use during that window.
Click Save.
ℹ️ Note: Schedules in Kitchen Overrides can't overlap, and an override can't cross midnight. To cover past midnight, create two schedules (for example, 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM and 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM).

Extra time for large orders
You can add extra prep time automatically for large orders, based on either a dollar amount or an item count (not both). Set the threshold and the extra time in your prep-time settings.
Busy Mode
When you're slammed, turn on Busy Mode from your Owner tablet to add extra prep time for a set period. When the time is up, your prep time returns to normal automatically.
