Your Owner Dashboard and the Owner App use your email, your password, and a one-time code. Your POS and tablet use a 4-digit passcode instead. See View or reset a staff passcode (PIN).
Log in with a one-time code (MFA)
The one-time code is called multi-factor authentication (MFA). It confirms it's really you each time you log in with your password.
From your Owner Dashboard
We text your code to the phone number on your account. If there's no phone number, we email it.
Go to dashboard.owner.com.
Enter your email and password.
Click Sign In.
Enter the 6-digit code we sent you.
Click Verify code.
✅ Tip: If we email your code, you can click the login link in the email instead of typing the code. Open the link on the same device you're logging in on.
From the Owner App
Open the Owner App.
Enter your email or phone number.
Enter your password.
Enter the 6-digit code we text or email you.
Tap Verify code.
If your account has only a phone number, we text you a code to log in. Then you add an email and password to finish setting up your account.
If you can't log in
You didn't get your code
Codes can take a moment to arrive, and they expire after a few minutes. Check that the phone number or email on your account is correct. Then select Try another way on the code screen to send a new code or switch between text and email.
You see "Log In Failed"
Click Try again and log in again. If it still doesn't work, clear your browser's data or try a different browser.
You logged in on the wrong device
If you open the login link from the email on your phone, you're logged in on your phone, not your computer. Open the link on the device you want to use.
You forgot your password
