What do my guests see on their bank statement?

What shows up on a guest's bank or card statement can vary by bank. It typically includes these details from your payment account:

  • Your business name: usually your restaurant's name, pulled from your payment account.

  • Your business address: whatever address is on file for your payment account.

  • Your business phone number: the number tied to your payment account.

Where your statement details are managed

Where you manage these details depends on your payment setup.

  • Owner Payments: We take care of this for you automatically. Your restaurant's details are managed in your Owner Dashboard, so there's nothing extra to set up.

  • Your own Stripe login: You can edit these details in your Stripe Dashboard.

Fix a personal name, address, or phone number

Sometimes a personal name, address, or phone number shows up instead of your restaurant's. This can confuse guests or feel like a privacy concern, but it's easy to fix.

  • On Owner Payments (most restaurants): Update this in your Owner Dashboard, or contact Owner support and we'll guide you.

  • On your own Stripe login (older accounts): Update it yourself in Stripe, or contact Stripe Support for help.
