Busy Mode temporarily pauses new online orders so the kitchen can catch up. You can switch it on or off in seconds from the Store tab.

1. Open the Store tab

In the tab bar, tap Store.

This area houses operational settings such as prep‑time buffers and Busy Mode.

2. Toggle Busy Mode

  1. Find the Busy Mode row.

  2. Tap the switch to turn it On. Guests will see a “We’re temporarily busy” message and cannot place new orders.

  3. When you are ready, tap again to turn it Off; ordering re‑opens immediately.

3. Verify from the Home tab

When Busy Mode is on, an alert chip appears in the Home tab’s alert banner, labeled Busy Mode enabled. Clearing the alert confirms that orders are open again.

Tips:

  • Use Busy Mode carefully; it blocks all new orders until you switch it off.

  • If the alert chip does not disappear after you disable Busy Mode, pull down to refresh the Home tab or confirm you are on the correct location via the top‑bar switcher.
