Catering delivery zones and fees

You can set delivery zones just for catering, separate from your regular online-ordering zones. Set them in your Owner Dashboard or on your Owner tablet, for both in-house and third-party (Uber Eats or DoorDash) delivery.

How catering zones work with your regular zones

  • If you have at least one catering zone, catering deliveries use your catering zones. Regular deliveries keep using your online-ordering zones.

  • If you have no catering zones, catering deliveries fall back to your online-ordering zones.

Create a catering delivery zone

You can create a catering zone in your Owner Dashboard or on your Owner tablet.

  1. Select Add Delivery Zone.

  2. Choose Catering from the dropdown.

  3. Set the provider to in-house or third party.

In-house catering fees

For in-house catering zones, you can set multiple delivery-fee tiers based on minimum order spend. For example:

  • Minimum $100 to $300 order: $30 delivery fee.

  • Minimum $300 or more: $50 delivery fee.

In this example, catering delivery isn't available under $100. The minimum spend in your first tier is the minimum required for catering delivery.

How a zone is chosen

Catering zones work like your regular zones. They're checked top to bottom, and the first zone that covers the delivery address wins. The minimum spend is then checked against that zone only. If the order doesn't meet that zone's minimum, the guest sees a minimum-not-met message, and the order doesn't fall through to the next zone.

To learn how to order your zones, see Set the order of your delivery zones.
