How do I update an order's status on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Each order moves through statuses as your team works on it. Update the status from the order detail panel to keep your workflow on track.

1. Open the Orders screen and tap the order you want to update.

2. Tap the status button at the top of the order detail panel. It shows the current status (e.g., "Not started").

3. Tap the new status you want to set.

ℹ️ The available transitions depend on the current status:

  • Not started → In progress or Complete

  • Scheduled → In progress or Complete

  • In progress → Complete


What each status means

Status

Meaning

Requested

A catering order waiting for you to accept or decline.

Scheduled

Confirmed for a future pickup time.

Not started

Ready to be worked on.

In progress

Your team is preparing the order.

Complete

Done and handed off to the guest or driver.

Cancelled

Cancelled before completion.

Voided

Voided after creation. Shows as "Refunded" if payments were returned.

⚠️ Complete, Cancelled, and Voided are final statuses. You can't change the status after an order reaches one of these.
