How do I add a charge to an order on the Owner POS and Owner Tablet?

Add an extra charge to a paid order when you need to collect more from the guest. The charge goes to the card on file.

1. Open the Orders screen and tap the order you want to charge.

2. Tap Charge in the actions row, or tap the Actions menu ("...") and then tap Charge.

ℹ️ Charge is only available on paid orders placed through Owner channels (in-store, phone, or Owner website). It doesn't appear on marketplace orders (DoorDash, UberEats).

3. Enter the charge amount. You can tap a preset ($1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $15) or type a custom amount. The minimum is $0.50.

ℹ️ If the order was paid with multiple cards, you'll see each payment listed. Choose which card to charge and enter the amount for each.

4. Tap Add charge.

5. Tap Done on the confirmation screen.
