Owner offers two kinds of delivery: in-house and third-party. You can use one or both.
In-house delivery
You use your own drivers and manage your own delivery settings:
Your delivery area
Your delivery fee
Your delivery minimum
Which driver takes each order. You can assign and track your drivers in Owner. See Manage your in-house delivery drivers.
Set the provider to In House when you create a delivery zone.
Third-party delivery
If you don't have your own drivers, Owner can arrange delivery through Uber Direct or DoorDash Drive. These are the delivery-only services from Uber and DoorDash, separate from their marketplaces, so you're not paying marketplace commissions, just the delivery fee. Set the provider to Uber Eats or DoorDash when you create a delivery zone.
ℹ️ Note: Before you offer third-party delivery, check that Uber or DoorDash covers your area. See How Uber Eats and DoorDash delivery fees work for fees and distance limits.
Bike and scooter delivery
Third-party drivers can use bikes or scooters by default. If you don't want bikes or scooters delivering your orders (for example, if your packaging doesn't travel well), contact Owner support.
