When a DoorDash or Uber Eats driver picks up an order, verify the driver before you hand off the food, so orders don't go to the wrong person. If you deliver with your own in-house driver, you don't need these steps.
Hand off the order
Ask the driver to show you their app with the guest's order details.
Check that the name on the order matches before you hand it over.
Have the driver mark the order as picked up in their Uber Eats or DoorDash app.
⚠️ If the driver can't show proof of the order and mark it as picked up, do not hand over the food. Otherwise, a driver could take the food without delivering it, or the order could go to the wrong person and lead to complaints and refunds.
Track the delivery
After the driver picks up the order, you can open the courier's tracking link from the order.
Open the order from the Kitchen tab. You can also tap the menu in the top-left, choose Orders, and then tap the order.
In the order details panel, check the driver's name.
Tap the map icon next to the driver name and delivery status to open the courier's tracking link.
